The Negri Sembilan government will study the impact of the biotoxin contamination case on the mussel farming industry in Port Dickson before taking appropriate measures to help affected fishermen and entrepreneurs.
Effective immediately, the Fisheries Department has prohibited the public in Melaka from consuming bivalves until biotoxin readings reach permissible levels and mussels are confirmed safe for consumption
