The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has detained two more individuals as part of its probe into an alleged “procurement cartel” involving construction works at a Royal Malaysian Navy camp in Johor valued at over RM9 million.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said he hoped that appropriate action would be taken against those involved in the “procurement cartel” case, which involves construction work worth more than RM9 million at a Royal Malaysian Navy camp in Johor.
The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) today confirmed that some of its members have been summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for questioning over the 'procurement cartel' involving construction work at one of its base camps, involving more than RM9 million.
