The decision of former Penang Deputy Chief Minister P. Ramasamy to quit DAP will not affect the campaign of Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the state elections this time.
David Marshel, who quit DAP after 15 years in the party, said that his decision to contest for the Perai state seat also aims to provide “necessary” support to caretaker chief minister Chow Kon Yeow.
Minister of National Unity Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said the ministry has requested a higher allocation in the 2024 Budget, which will be tabled in October.
