State Education, Information and Communications Committee chairman Norlizah Noh was reported by Bernama announcing the affected schools SK Kg Maju Jaya, SK Bukit Mutiara and SK Sg Tiram.
The floods in three Terengganu districts have resulted in the closure of 34 schools – nine due to flooding and 25 because they are being used as relief centres.
Schools in areas with an air pollution index reading of more than 200 can be closed immediately without waiting for the approval of the district education office.
