Kerajaan bersetuju menambah peruntukan program subsidi bersasar Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Fasa 2 sebanyak 20 peratus iaitu kepada RM1.5 bilion, berbanding RM1.26 bilion pada tahun lepas.

Datuk Seri Anwar ibrahim berkata, bayaran maksimum STR bagi isi rumah pada tahun ini ditingkatkan kepada RM500 berbanding RM300 tahun lepas, dengan bayaran bagi Fasa 1 STR 2024 kepada 8.2 juta penerima akan disalurkan bermula hari ini
