Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said says she hopes that “rogue” Spanish arbitrator Dr Gonzalo Stampa faces prison time over alleged transgressions he made in handling the case involving the Sulu Sultanate and Malaysia.

‘M’sia won’t entertain frivolous claims on Sabah’

Malaysia does not recognise and will not entertain any frivolous claims made by any party, including the purported heirs of Sulu sultan on Sabah, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abd Kadir.

Sulu issue: Malaysia seeking US$14.9 bil final award annulment

Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said with this annulment, the government’s long standing battle against the Sulu claims will come to an end as the basis of the claims would cease to exist.
