Three traffic police officers have been remanded for three days, starting today, to assist in investigations into the alleged soliciting of RM100 to settle a fine from well-known YouTubers from the United Kingdom (UK) who were taking a road trip through the country.
The Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) is investigating the case of a traffic policeman allegedly issuing and offering to settle a summons on the spot for a British couple touring Malaysia in their vehicle.
It is understood that the portal’s investors have withdrawn their financial support, leading to its closure after three years of operating in the local media landscape.
