Four police investigation papers into Emraz Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd over its alleged involvement in umrah package fraud amounting to millions of ringgit have been classified as no further action (NFA) by the deputy public prosecutor’s office. 

Umrah package fraud: nearly 400 police reports lodged

Police have confirmed receiving 399 reports in connection with alleged umrah package frauds by a local company between January 1 and yesterday, involving 1,614 pilgrims nationwide and incurring a loss of over RM14 million.
