Several residents of Kota Belud who oppose a local water treatment plant project could potentially jeopardise the district's last opportunity to secure a stable water supply, warns Tuaran MP Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau.
Seven dams in the country have been identified as high risk, so the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) will propose solutions to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC).
